Cruise
So, spring break is over and it is back to work. Of course, our trip could not end peacefully. We were supposed to dock at 6AM, be off the ship by 9 or so, and fly back at 1:45PM. The weather (fog) did not cooperate and we were locked out of port. We missed our flight and were left on the ship with 3000 others trying to find ways home. No air dates until Tuesday...guess we drive....from Houston. 9 people, 9 bags and a big black Suburban. We stopped for 5 hours along the way to sleep and made it in just under 24 hours. I certainly did not want to have to pay another day at the exhorbitant rate we were charged.
Now for the good part. We had a great time!!! Even when my angry friend was frightened by the woods of Jamaica. Also, in my last post, I commented that we were not allowed to bring wine on the ship. I will say that the wine list was pretty good and the prices were also very fair, and in some cases, very good. We even drank some Caymus Cabernet - the best bottle we had on the ship. Also an interesting White Bordeaux (Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend). Give them a try!!!
Now the Poker/Blackjack Tables........
Hope everyone had a nice Easter and beginning of Spring.
