This past weekend was Memorial Day and I was off work on Monday.  We sat with some friends in our driveway (I guess we are officially trailer trash) drinking wine and watching the kids play.  First, I had a Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (from New Zealand).  It had been open a couple days, but was still very nice and I think sells for under $20.  Second, I had a Kahurangi Sauvignon Blanc (also New Zealand) - it was REALLY nice.  We are selling it for $9.99, but I don't think much is left (could only find 4 bottles on the shelf - did Larry and Steve stack it somewhere?).  It was very crisp with a great citrus and Grapefruit flavor.  Even more interesting is that I ended up drinking it while eating one of those cherry breakfast bars.  It was a great pairing - give it a try some time.
