Summer is finally here. With Memorial day weekend upon us it is time for relaxing,grilling and drinking. Most of the classic summer beers are out . Sam Adams,Goose Island,Blue Moon and Leine's Summer Shandy. I hate to give up my motor oil stouts but these summer beers are just so easy to drink on hot days. Pretty much all are lighter in taste,wheat styles are popular, with citrus and other fruit flavors. A Blue Moon with a slice of orange in a frosted glass oh so good! Some excellent but not so popular choices are O'Fallons Wheach, Dogfish head Midas Touch and their Chateau Jiahu as well. All are on the sweeter side,I usually just enjoy one ore two of these then switch back to a lighter style. All of these go very well with anything you slap on the grill! So enjoy your weekend,I will.
