I was mentioning to Larry the other day that I just didn't have any everyday wine at home. So what was I going to do? Well,I'll tell you... I've been enjoying our selections from South America,and I combed that section and saw the Terra Andina wines from Chile. These are really decent wines for a great price,I thought. I bought a bottle of the Carmenere and took it home. It was a cold night(what else was new),so I opened a bottle,turned on the tunes,and settled in...Fantastic wine for $7.99! Terra Andina also has a wonderful blend line named Altos. They have like three or four types,and they're only $15.99. If you bought a wine like this from California,it'd cost you upwards of $30.00.

The next day I told Larry of my Terra Andina sampling,and he said,"Steve,did you know Marty Coyne's coming Saturday(Valentines Day)to taste-out the Terra Andina wines?" Well,I forgot,what with all the events we've had,and that are coming up(Big Red Reserve). Sorry,Marty... But this gives everyone a chance to taste some great values,and stock up,without hurting your pocketbook. Hey,we all know that times are tough. But you might as well enjoy the finer things in life,and these wines will bring you some joy,and ease the burden... I hope to see many of you Saturday(noon-4PM)at the store! Hey Marty,are you bringing a super-model to help you pour? Ha! Ha!
