Super Bowl Week

The Super Bowl was awesome!!!  I really didn't care who won, so the fact that the game was close and exciting made it a great watch.  I tried some Trout Slayer beer from Big Skyy.  it is a filtered wheat ale made in Montana.  Overall, I enjoyed it (probably more than their more famous Moose Drool - which is a Brown Ale).  I also brought home a bottle of Clos Du Bois Marlstone, which we didn't open, but I tried in the store.  This is a red blend with a limited production to ensure quality.  It was velvety, with some plum and blackberry flavor.  Very Nice.  And it is usually $50, but now sale for $29.99.  We don't have much left - maybe 6 bottles or so, since someone bought out the remained of the 9 cases that came in before it even hit the shelf.

Finally, I tried some Four Sons Cabernet made by Baldacci from Stag's Leap.  This will be tasted at our Reserve Red event later this month.  I will tempt you by simply saying - excellent, a must try, and well priced.  Don't miss it.
