Hey everyone it's Tony. I have just enjoyed probably the greatest beer ever! Goose Islands Bourbon County Stout. I made a bbq pork tenderloin and brown potatoes to go with it. This bottle was made in 2005. At the tasting last weekend I had a chance 2 taste this years, and both beers were incredible. But the aged one definately mellowed. The alcohol warmth was still there but not much of a bite. It was like motor oil in a glass. The taste of roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate really paired well with the bbq. I definitely suggest you pickup a 4pk yourself drink 2 now and put 2 away. It will be hard not to drink them but well worth the wait when you do. We have some at the store but it is a limited beer so it goes fast. Eat,drink and be merry. Cheers Tony
