This last week, we tasted a couple wines and a premixed cocktail.  In honor of the Kentucky Derby, we tried Early Times Mint Julep.  OVer 120,000 servings are doled out in the 2 day Derby weekend in Kentucky - amazing!!!  This is a sugary mint flavored Whiskey drink - I found it quite tasty as I had never tried it before.  We only get a couple cases when it is released prior to the Derby.  I would guess we have 1/2 a case or so left.  If you want it, $12.99/liter - come in soon.

We then tried a German Red Wine - Bretz Spatburgunder.  This is a light, fruity Pinot Noir.  Would be great to sip on outside as Summer approaches.  Pair it with Pork, Chicken or Fish.  I think this was around $13.99 or so.  The final wine we tried was a wine from Uruguay - think Granny Smith Apple.  Very nice.  I think it was around $15.99 and I really liked it - though if you can believe it, the name escapes me right now.  Stop in or call in at 847-395-3540 and we'll find it for you.
