Jerry was back from sickness this week and we had some unusual products to try.  The first was Imperia Plum Branndy.  Slivovitz is the national drink of Serbia and this one was great.  Aged in Oak Barrels for 5 years, this had sweet, vanilla tones.  Try it with smoked beef or as a digestive.  $29.99/750ml

The second item was Gran Duqe d' Alba Spanish Brandy.  Oak, prune and definitely sherry on the bouquet - this must be aged in a sherry cask.  The average age of this brandy is 25 years.  Sells for $45.99/750ml

Finally, we tried some Echte Kroatzberre Blackberry Liqueur.  Everyone liked this one - except Nick, he isn't crazy about much.  At $29.99, this blows away all the other Blackberry brandies and liqueurs.
